Mexican Institute of Sound shares Hermitude’s remix

Multi-instrumentalist duo Hermitude’s “Every Day (feat. Hoodlem)” is remixed by the Mexican Institute of Sound, which is the project name of producer Camilo Lara whose previous remixes include Beck, Julieta Venegas, & Interpol and he was on the music team for Pixar’s film COCO. M.I.S. is known for mixing vintage Mexican pop and dance sounds with modern loops and beats.

“It’s been a pleasure to remix such a proactive and exciting band as Hermitude. Like them, for me it is exciting to erase borders and put a grain of sand to make a global dance floor, ”says Camilo.

Alongside this new version, five others will be launched by Com Truise, Dontloveme, Odd Mob, Shisto and Slow Magic. Hermitude is preparing what will be their new era, which will reach new territories thanks to its pop sensibilities and slick production.

Mexican Institute of Sound will visit Europe during June and continues to collaborate with artists such as Lila Downs and Graham Coxon.
