TORREBLANCA es una agrupación mexicana de rock/pop/alternativo independiente creada a finales del 2007. Son un conjunto joven y aguerrido de 4 músicos -muy distintos entre sí- que, sin embargo, se complementan de manera asombrosa creando un sonido único y fresco. TORREBLANCA trata de encontrarse, pero también de perderse en la creación musical. Tanto en grabación como en vivo buscan ofrecer temas impredecibles, elegantes, intensos, importantes, bien tocados y bien amarrados; cuya interpretación visceral y sincera conmueva sin pedir permiso a quien escucha.

Su primer LP “Bella Época” fue producido por Quique Rangel (Café Tacvba) y fue editado por Arts & Crafts México en 2011, y su mas reciente material, El Polvo en la Luz, se estrenará en septiembre de este año.

La banda fue galardonada con el Premio de la Gente en los IMAS 2012.

Mexican indie rock / pop / alternative group created at the end of 2007. They are a young and strenuous group of 4 musicians – very different from each other – who, however, complement in an amazing way creating an unique and fresh sound. 

Torreblanca loses itself in musical creation. Both recording and live, they seek to offer unpredictable, elegant, intense, important, well touched and well tied themes; whose visceral and sincere interpretation moves without asking permission of the listener. Their first LP, Bella Época, was produced by Quique Rangel (Café Tacvba) and was edited by Arts & Crafts Mexico in 2011. His second album, El Polvo en la Luz, was released three years later.

The band won the People’s Award at the 2012 Independent Music Awards (IMAS).
