#2019inACMX: our favorite videos

#ACMX family was the most creative this 2019 and you can see that in the official videos our artists presented. Here we tell you a little more about all these stories that go from love to terror and that were starred by the most peculiar characters (piñatas and puppies included).

In “blind” by Jean-Michel Blais we follow the story of an outstanding neurobiologist and his controversial research with plants. On the other hand, Metric fans starred “Love You Back”. From all over the world, they sent their videos dancing and singing the song.

An unlikely love story happened at the Ottawa Natural History Museum to the rhythm of Tim Baker’s “Dance.” While Rey Pila remembered some of their best live shows of 2018 and translated them into “Flames”.

We went on an acid trip with Jonny Pierce (The Drums) in the “Body Chemistry” video. A lot of glitches and psychedelia, with a very similar aesthetic, Absolutely Free collaborated with U.S. Girls in

target="_blank" rel="noopener">“Currency”, a social and cosmic theme.

We met Toro and Moi’s study (Company Records) in “Ordinary Pleasure” and we would definitely like to stay there. In a much more romantic mood. Betty Who’s “I Remember,” reminded us a love story as in The Shape of Water.

With a seventies style that reminded us of ABBA or Gloria Gaynor, Liza Anne invited us to move away from toxic relationships in “

target="_blank" rel="noopener">Devotion”. Chicano Batman and Caloncho premiered animated video about families migrating to the United States with minors in “Háblame”.

Frazey Ford showed us the importance of the community and activism, and how new generations will fight for the right causes in “

target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Kids Are Having None Of It“. And, without a doubt, the most adorable video was “Wild At Heart” by Bag Raiders, starring adorable dogs in search of love.
