Neon Indian

Neon Indian is Alan Palomo’s band. He was born in Monterrey, México in 1988 and now he is a Texas-based artist. His first album, Psychic Chasms (2009), received many favorable reviews, including the designation of Best New Music and the # 14 spot for Best Album of 2009 by Pitchfork. Rolling Stone named Neon Indian one of the best new bands of 2010.

Later in 2011, with his second album, Era Extraña, Palomo brought to light the most orderly side of the band, securing his place as one of chillwave’s main acts. His album, VEGA INTL Night School, was released in 2015, loaded with a mix of synthetic pop rhythms and melodies that only Palomo is capable of handling.

In 2019, the mexican artist returns influenced by the 70’s Latin American psychedelia. His first single is “Toyota Man” where he sings in Spanish for the first time.
